Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MD), Board certification in Nephrology and PhD in Molecular Medicine, he has authored over 80 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of renal physiology, pathophysiology and pharmacology with HI of 15. Moreover, he is an expert in Onco-Uro-Nephrology and obtained his Assistant Professor certification in 2020. Dr. Trevisani is an active member of both the
National and European Societies of Nephrology, and each year he is invited to speak at leading international congresses in nephrology and onco-nephrology, including the American Society of Nephrology Kidney Week, the European Renal Association Congress, and the International Society of Nephrology Congress.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biotechnology and a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine from the University of Milan, Italy, Dr. Cinque obtained a Ph.D. in Biotechnology Applied to Medical Sciences from the same institution. She continued her professional career at the Urological Research Institute of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital, where she conducted translational research projects on renal cancer and kidney function, authoring several peer-reviewed publications. Her pioneering research on novel biomarkers for renal cancer in liquid biopsies led to the discovery of Biorek’s patented miRNA signatures, which form the foundation of Biorek’s MiRECLE kits.
